Keepumi helps gamers organise their accounts, characters and collections and record who should understand them and what they want to happen, so family has a clearer starting point. It is not a will. Records grant no account access and cannot override publisher rules.
Your game accounts after you die
What happens to my game accounts when I die?
It depends on each game's rules. Many games restrict account sharing, transfer or sale. For example, Blizzard does not allow accounts to transfer to another player, and Square Enix account terms also prohibit transferring or selling accounts to a third party. Keepumi does not change those rules. It helps you record what exists, why it matters and what your family should ask the publisher, so they have a clear starting point. Records grant no account access and cannot override publisher rules.
Can my family get into my Steam, World of Warcraft or other game account after I die?
Keepumi does not give anyone access to your accounts, and being able to log in does not grant transfer rights. What is allowed depends on each game's rules. Blizzard does not allow accounts to transfer to another player. For Steam and other platforms, check that platform's own rules. Check with the publisher, and confirm legal authority, before any login, closure or other account action.
Is it legal to transfer or sell a game account?
It depends on the game's rules and on legal authority. Many publishers restrict transfer or sale, and your instructions cannot override a publisher's restrictions. Keepumi does not guarantee that any account, currency or item can be sold, and recording a wish does not create transfer rights.
What can I plan if my account cannot be transferred?
A plan does not depend on transferring an account. You can record which characters hold memories, which collections you would like remembered and which accounts you would want closed, and explain what they meant to you, so your family has fewer unanswered questions.
What Keepumi is and is not
Is Keepumi a will or a will-writing service?
No. Keepumi is a place to organise your game accounts, characters and collections and to record your wishes for them. It is not a legal estate executor and does not replace legal advice. Naming someone in Keepumi does not replace inheritance eligibility or other required authority, and recording a wish does not create transfer rights or guarantee a sale or inheritance outcome.
Who is Keepumi for?
Keepumi is for adult players who care about their collections and want to leave clear notes for the people who matter.
Does Keepumi sell accounts or hold sale proceeds?
Keepumi does not hold client assets or sale proceeds. Handovers, disclosure and coordinated sales are not part of the subscription. They need separate acceptance and verification, and a sale is only possible where the game's rules and legal authority allow it. Where a specific mandate is accepted, proceeds go directly to the verified lawful recipient, not to a Keepumi custody account.
Making your plan
What can I record in Keepumi?
You can record games, servers, characters, items and collections, along with value clues and why they matter to you. You can also name recipients and helpers, write wishes for each account, such as preserving memories or closing an account, say who you want to benefit and leave messages for family. Login and recovery credentials are optional.
Do I have to store my passwords?
No. You can leave passwords and recovery credentials blank and use Keepumi for collection notes, memories and wishes.
What is the difference between a recipient and a helper?
A recipient is someone you want to understand your collection and, where the rules allow it, benefit from it. A helper is someone familiar with your games who can help your family make sense of your records. Naming either person sends no invitation and grants no access.
Can I try Keepumi before signing up?
Yes. The public demonstration shows saved details, contacts and wishes using fictional records. It needs no real password, creates no records, sends no messages and starts no handover. To create your own plan, sign in with Google or, where email registration is enabled, with an email and password.
Contacts, access and handovers
Does adding a contact give them access to my accounts?
No. Adding a contact sends no invitation and grants no access to your records. Naming a recipient or helper does not give that person legal authority. Any future handover or sale needs identity and authority checks and must follow the game's rules. Records grant no account access and cannot override publisher rules.
Will my details be released if I stop logging in or stop paying?
No. Inactivity, no response and missed payments are not proof of death and never trigger automatic disclosure or a sale. Lost contact, unpaid bills or a completed record also never trigger automatic disclosure. Death and incapacity are reviewed separately.
What has to happen before any account handover or sale?
Someone contacts the Keepumi team to ask whether the request can be accepted. Before anything happens, the team verifies the proof of death, checks the requester's identity against your current contact list, confirms their legal authority and checks each game's rules. Death and incapacity are reviewed separately. This is separate from the self-service subscription. Contacting the team does not guarantee acceptance or a particular outcome.
Security and privacy
How does Keepumi protect my passwords and recovery details?
Passwords, recovery credentials, contact details and notes are protected with AES-256-GCM envelope encryption. Each vault has its own 256-bit data key, which is stored encrypted, and authentication tags check that the ciphertext has not been altered. Saved passwords are not displayed in your workspace, and you can update them. Sensitive actions require recent identity confirmation, and every decryption and important change is audited. Login and recovery credentials are optional.
Can the Keepumi team see my passwords?
Yes, if you choose to store them. Designated Keepumi team members can decrypt stored credentials, including passwords, to provide the service. Access requires authenticated permissions, recent identity confirmation and an audit record, and it does not require your approval for each viewing. Reviewers and coordinators do not have default access to credentials. This is server-side encryption, not zero-knowledge or end-to-end encryption. You can leave passwords and recovery credentials blank if you do not want them stored.
Does Keepumi use my data for advertising?
No. Keepumi does not sell personal information and does not enable third-party advertising tracking. The site uses the cookies or local storage needed for sessions, security checks and language and theme preferences. Google sign-in does not give Keepumi your Google password, and Keepumi does not request access to Google email, Drive or Google Cloud management.
Pricing, cancelling and contact
How much does Keepumi cost?
USD 40 per month or USD 365 per year. Both plans include encrypted storage, updates to your records, activity records and a team contact channel. Card payments go through Stripe and renew automatically, and taxes and the final total are shown at checkout. Account handovers, disclosure and coordinated sales are not included. If a specific mandate is accepted after verification, the handling fee is 5% of the final gross sale proceeds of only the assets in that mandate. Third-party fees, payment timing and scope are disclosed before you agree. Proceeds go directly to the verified lawful recipient, not a Keepumi custody account.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You can cancel the next renewal in subscription management and keep the service until the end of your paid period. Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period and does not automatically delete your records. You can ask for access, correction, account closure or deletion by emailing support@keepumi.com.
Who runs Keepumi and how do I contact the team?
Keepumi is currently operated by Allen Yang as an individual. Registration of a New Zealand company named Keepumi is in progress. Email support@keepumi.com or send a message from your workspace. Do not include passwords or recovery credentials. Contacting the team does not guarantee acceptance or a particular outcome.
